How it works
When you subscribe to a plan, you choose which leagues from the Sportmonks catalogue to include, up to your plan’s league limit. If your product grows and you need data from additional competitions, you can purchase extra league slots as an add-on and add them to your existing plan immediately.
This means a Starter subscriber covering five niche regional leagues can add a single high-profile competition without paying for a Growth plan, and a Growth subscriber can extend into additional international markets without moving to Pro. You scale your league coverage on demand, in line with how your product actually grows.
If your needs change, you can also swap leagues within your plan’s monthly swap limit, updating your selection to reflect new priorities without purchasing additional slots.

What the Football API covers
All features are included on every plan regardless of league count. Within your selected leagues, you get access to fixtures and season schedules, live scores and match events, standings, player and team statistics, top scorers, squads, coaches, referees, venues, and more. The leagues and competitions you choose determine the scope of that data, not which features you can use.
Popular choices include the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Champions League, but the catalogue extends across every continent and includes domestic leagues, cup competitions, youth tournaments, and international fixtures at all levels.
Enterprise plan subscribers get access to all 2,300+ leagues without needing to select or add individual competitions.

The Extra Leagues add-on is available for Starter, Growth, and Pro plans. It is activated and managed through my.sportmonks.com. Contact the Sportmonks team for pricing per additional league slot.
